Adaptation Music’s 136th release is a jazzy, soulful house affair with hints of latin from Tom Conrad, entitled ‘Belleza Ùnica’.
Originally set out to be an instrumental for a world renowned vocalist at their request, ‘Belleza Ùnica’ took a different turn prior to getting that far and instead became a full on soulful, jazzy, piano infused affair, with flavours of the 90s New York house scene alongside some Latin American influences.
Tom continues to release music under several aliases, this being a rare exception to the rule seeing as the track has personal ties. Despite maintaining several busy aliases, there are a few more forthcoming gems to look out for under Tom’s name in 2023.

The 135th single on Adaptation Music comes from new label favourites Truth Committee, with the filtered soulful disco track ‘Find A Way’.
With elements of soul, latin, jazz, French House and disco complete with infectious vocals and funky live bass, the fusion vibes of ‘Find A Way’ will likely appeal to a wide range of house music and disco fans and has summer written all over it. We may not be at summer just yet but hopefully this track will bring it a bit closer.
Truth Committee have followed up a very positive 2022 with several singles out this year already on Pina Colada, Boogie Brunch and three on Adaptation Music in the form of ‘Hope For Tomorrow’, ‘Montreux’ and ‘Twisted’, with it set to be a busy year overall.

Adaptation Music welcome back Caliorange with their third EP on the label, this one another fantastic deep house affair entitled ‘Secrets EP’.
Opening the EP is ‘Lunar Vortex’, which is a very deep, atmospheric and hypnotic journey, laden with old school Detroit chords, stabs and spacey vocals. One for the true deep house heads and fans of the early 90s vibe. The ‘B side’ is a deep, driving and funky, bass heavy track entitled ‘Talk Kink’ which does what it says in the title with it’s x-rated vocal, whilst also being a deliberate pun.

‘Twisted’ is a huge dancefloor number, with infectious guitar licks, funky as hell bass line and twisted vocal – something to either dance your ass off to or get twisted to, we’ll leave that up to you.

Quite probably the best track yet from Truth Committee, ‘Hope For Tomorrow’ is a beautiful piano laden jazzy, soulful track with a soft and positive vocal accompanied by live bass, additional keys and solid beats. A thought provoking slice of jazzy goodness which leaves you feeling like there’s hope for tomorrow, maybe.

An infectious vocal, funky bass line and filtered keys combine to create a sun-kissed disco house vibe with a nostalgic French House feel, perfect for summer, the beach, pool parties and more. One for fans of Jackin House, Disco House, Nu Disco and the Classic House sound.

Cosmic Elements is proud to welcome the first release from Thylacinus alongside the brilliant Da Funksta, with two tracks of old school (mostly) instrumental west coast hip hop coming together to form ‘Lazy Sunset’.
Opening track ‘Lazy Afternoon’ is a sun soaked laidback beauty, with hypnotic harmonies, soothing vocals and solid beats perfect for any occasion. On the flip so to speak is ‘Sunset Boulevard’ which is a more funk laden affair which does exactly what it says on the tin – imagine being sat in a Cadillac convertible cruising down Sunset Boulevard in LA, sun beating down and there you have it. The most important question is of course, what colour is your Cadillac?
Look out for more singles and an album from Thylacinus over the next few months. Alongside Thylacinus on this release is top European hip hop artist Da Funksta, whose label ‘The Old Skool The New Class’ (or ‘TOSNC’ for short) is phenomenal, so check it out!
