Adaptation’s 139th release is a deep and Balearic melodic summer track entitled ‘Islands Of The Sun’ by Tom Conrad.
A progressively building journey from tough New York beats and lush warm chords through to sunkissed piano chords and synth stabs lead towards the scintillating melody half way through the track, which aptly lives up to its title and is and ode to all those thought provoking hot summer afternoons spent on a beach in the sun someplace.
Tom continues to release music under several aliases, with many more forthcoming gems to look out for throughout 2023.

Funky bass, warm rhodes, atmospheric pads, beautiful synth keys and a minimal vocal combine to create a beauty of a Nu Disco track with the addition of New York garage style beats and further into the track, some classic D-Train vibes. Great summer feel to this one.
Truth Committee have followed up a very positive 2022 with several singles out this year already on various labels, with this being their sixth single on Adaptation Music so far in 2023.

NEW RELEASE – Truth Committee ‘Ipanema’
“Every year one of the big challenges seems to be, who is able to deliver the first real big summer groove. Like always, the answer is not easy as there’s so much music around. Now leaving winter and nearly spring behind us as well, releases get more sun drenched it seems, and that’s basically a good thing. Adaptation records regulars Truth Committee infuse sun in the name of their new track already-‘Ipanema’ suggesting nothing but endless beaches, sun and the sea. The track itself is not a typical Latin House track as you would assume, it has a samba style vocal, but beside that it’s a sublime dreamy fusion of live bass, lush keys and beautiful rhodes piano solos, suitable for any time of day or occasion and sits anywhere between disco, jazzy house and soulful house. And where am I sitting? Not on the beaches of Ipanema sadly-but at least I got the right soundtrack of thinking about this scenario now.”

Adaptation Music’s 136th release is a jazzy, soulful house affair with hints of latin from Tom Conrad, entitled ‘Belleza Ùnica’.
Originally set out to be an instrumental for a world renowned vocalist at their request, ‘Belleza Ùnica’ took a different turn prior to getting that far and instead became a full on soulful, jazzy, piano infused affair, with flavours of the 90s New York house scene alongside some Latin American influences.
Tom continues to release music under several aliases, this being a rare exception to the rule seeing as the track has personal ties. Despite maintaining several busy aliases, there are a few more forthcoming gems to look out for under Tom’s name in 2023.

With elements of soul, latin, jazz, French House and disco complete with infectious vocals and funky live bass, the fusion vibes of ‘Find A Way’ will likely appeal to a wide range of house music and disco fans and has summer written all over it. We may not be at summer just yet but hopefully this track will bring it a bit closer.
Truth Committee have followed up a very positive 2022 with several singles out this year already on Pina Colada, Boogie Brunch and three on Adaptation Music in the form of ‘Hope For Tomorrow’, ‘Montreux’ and ‘Twisted’, with it set to be a busy year overall.

Adaptation Music welcome back Caliorange with their third EP on the label, this one another fantastic deep house affair entitled ‘Secrets EP’.
Opening the EP is ‘Lunar Vortex’, which is a very deep, atmospheric and hypnotic journey, laden with old school Detroit chords, stabs and spacey vocals. One for the true deep house heads and fans of the early 90s vibe. The ‘B side’ is a deep, driving and funky, bass heavy track entitled ‘Talk Kink’ which does what it says in the title with it’s x-rated vocal, whilst also being a deliberate pun.
