Yan’s versatile crossover sound continues with the brilliant ‘Take It Easy’ which will appeal to DJs from the deep house, jackin house and soulful house scenes – a feat which is not easy to achieve. Warm chords and a captivating vocal are backed up with old school U.S garage style beats giving the track a retro vibe with a modern twist. WUMM’s remix takes the track in a more dubby late night direction, keeping the lush chord sound but introducing a serious slice of sub bass remeniscent of the early Robsoul and Brique Rouge sound. Rounding off the package is another quality remix from Yohan Esprada with a soulful vs deep/tech vibe which once again showcases the versatile quality of the overall release.

Rotterdam based producer El Funkador has been releasing consistent jackin house for over 5 years now and was recently was signed to DJ Sneak’s Magnetic Recordings imprint. A combination of tight retro garage beats, deep funky basslines and heavy jazz and funk influences have become his trademark sound and made his tracks a popular choice for numerous DJs within the jackin house scene.

The EP opens with the superb and infectious ‘What You Want’ with its lush vocals, beautiful classy jazz keys and hook that you wish didn’t have to end! this track is most suited for the early part of the night/DJ set and ideal for any beach/pool party scenario. Next up on the EP is ‘Can’t Hold Me Down’ which also has a catchy jazzy hook but takes on a different vibe with its deeper late night vibes, yet is certainly equal in quality.

Adaptation Music welcomes Italian producer Daniele Fiorino to the label for the first time with the solid two track ‘Back To Life EP’.

Releasing music of his own under various guises and ghost producing for others since 2005, Calabrian native Daniele Fiorino’s consistent sound has graced many international record labels, most notably Jay-J’s Moulton Music.

‘Back To Life EP’ contains two solid dancefloor friendly club tracks with a crossover sound. The first track ‘Around The Sun’ combines a killer garage-esque bassline and captivating synth stabs and its versatile sound is sure to appeal to a wide range of DJs and dancefloors. The flip side of the EP ‘Living In My Time’ is a more funky affair with a Balearic feel comprising of hypnotic piano stabs and another solid bassline.

Following up a recent Traxsource #1 Essential Jackin release and #5 top download with ‘The 12am Groove’, Tom has also recently done remixes for Jesante, Hermanas Sister, DJ Bee & DJ SGZ along with the well received ‘Impressions EP’ release. Once again, both tracks offer something different.

Opening track ‘Better Here Than Never’ is a hypnotic and driving late night gem with its captivating chord layers, delayed vocal FX and swirling synth interludes. Set in no particular order, the second track entitled ‘Secrets Within’ has a very old school U.S feel with its atmospheric pads; alternating between both beautifully ethereal and funky jackin chords. It’s sure to be a hit with both fans of deep house and jackin house.
