Adaptation Music welcomes back Nottingham duo Javed Brothers with their third EP project on the label entitled ‘Divergence EP’.

The EP starts with the atmospheric yet driving bass heavy track ‘Dale Way’ which is arguably one of their best works to date and guaranteed to be popular with any serious deep house connoisseur. Completing the EP is ‘B Side’ yet it is certainly not there just to make up the numbers. It has a more minimal late night feel to it but is also dreamy, atmospheric and driving, complete with a huge bassline. This EP has a very deep underground sound to it and isn’t one to be missed.

Javed Brothers are no strangers to the scene despite relatively new forays into the world of deep house, hence why their productions are so solid. Both of them have been DJing for over a decade for various events in several locations throughout the UK and one of the duo has owned a successful recording studio, doing voiceover work with Stephen Graham for the major HBO series Boardwalk Empire. Expect to see a lot more from these guys as 2018 and beyond, with numerous projects in the pipeline and big things are expected from them.

Adaptation Music’s exclusivity of Tom Conrad’s original work continues with another solid deep house two tracker entitled ‘Reflection EP’.

The EP opens with the brilliant ‘Hidden Desires’ which sets off with serious jackin beats before a heavy Chicago-esque bassline enters, followed by deep retro Detroit style chords all of which are synonymous with Tom’s deep house sound. Think main room, think Kerri Chandler and you may well have an idea of the sound before you even click play. The other gem on the EP is ‘Spirals’ which is on a similar theme but has a more ethereal, atmospheric feel to it yet retains both solid beats and a killer bass sound. Certainly not an EP to be missed and is without doubt some of Tom’s best work to date!

Adaptation Music welcomes back Spike Galarraga following his ‘Lifestyle EP’ with another solid deep house three tracker entitled ‘Blended EP’.

Former Buenos Aires and now Barcelona native Spike Galarraga is relatively new to the underground house music scene but is already showing a remarkable consistency and quality within the realms of deep tech house and techno. His signature sound of deep infectious late night rhythms and sub heavy basslines is remeniscent of the classic Terry Francis sound synonymous with his long term residency at the legendary Fabric London.

Opening the EP is ‘Countdown To Superstition’ which replicates the sound associated with Craig Richards’ Tyrant events and compilations and also has comparisons with the underground Berlin sound. Next up is ‘La Guillermina’ which is a more atmospheric track with haunting chords yet it keeps finely in tune with the late night theme of the EP. Closing the EP and last but not least is ‘Why Do We Fall’ which has more of a prog feel to it but showcases the versatility and quality of the artist and completes yet another great EP for Argentina’s rising star.

Matt Correa Returns to Adaptation Music following previous release ‘Illusions EP’ and several remixes including Franco De Mulero’s ‘Ara’, his Balearic rework of Hermanas Sister ‘Bird’, the big room take on DJ Bee’s ‘Corruption’ and the more laidback vibes of D-Reflection’s ‘Make Believe’. Remixes on this release come from The Messenger, Arturo Garces and Askin Dedeoglu.

Matt’s versatility continues with the crossover sounds of ‘Sophisticated’ complete with a funky bassline alongside classic deep chord stabs creating a sound normally associated with early west coast U.S deep house and the more recent Dutch jackin house sound. Another example of foolproof piece of music from the multi-talented man from Marbella!

First on remix duty is the consistent and well respected European duo The Messenger, who release on numerous underground labels and prefer to stay out of the limelight which their music is more than worthy of! This remix once again captures the classic early U.S west coast deep house sound and oozes quality throughout.

Voted one of the top 10 jackin house producers worldwide for the last few years is an actual U.S west coast producer – Arturo Garces. His classic sound is evident in another quality remix he’s done here for Adaptation Music, reminiscent of the DJ Sneak style and deep underground sound of Robsoul, which is no coincidence seeing as he has now graced that label more than once in the last few years..

Last but not least is a different take on the track from Turkish based Bulgarian producer Askin Dedeoglu, following on from his brilliant ‘Passion EP’. His remix offers deep, jackin and atmospheric elements backed up with a huge retro bassline that may appeal to old school house heads and fans of the UK/speed garage scene of the 1990s.
