It’s been 10 years of Adaptation Music so far with an array of artists and their music from every continent, also being played on every continent apart from the north or south poles as far as we know.

To celebrate this milestone, two separate compilations showcasing a small selection of the artists and music on offer have been created; one for the early soulful side of the label and one for the deeper house sound now synonymous with the label.

Adaptation Music would like to thank everyone who has supported the label to date and here’s to the next 10 years!

Adaptation Music’s Tom Conrad kicks off 2019 with a great new two tracker entitled ‘Streetlife EP’ which once again shows his versatility and ability to avoid being predictable or typecast when producing house music. It follows on from his previous project on the label, ‘Dawn Rising EP’.

The EP opens up with the sublime ‘Street Boogie’, a classy jackin house track that would also appeal to disco, funk and soul fans due to its multitude of intelligent crossover sounds and warm feel. Certainly one of Tom’s greatest works to date. The ‘B Side’ of the release is the long awaited ‘Fading Lights’ which also has a huge crossover appeal. Whilst primarily being a deep/jackin house track, it has embedded influences of soul, funk and disco and an overall very warm, emotional and atmospheric vibe.

After a strong 2018, Tom kicks off the new year in style and is the first of many releases in the pipeline for the months ahead. Tom continues to establish himself with his consistency and progression within the realms of deep and jackin underground house music, so look out for much more from him in the coming year.

Adaptation Music’s Tom Conrad delivers his latest two tracker entitled ‘Dawn Rising EP’ which once again shows his versatility and ability to avoid being predictable or typecast when producing house music. It follows on from his previous project on the label, ‘Variations EP’.

The EP kicks off with the funky jackin house sounds of ‘Shadow Lady’ complete with captivating chords, guitar riff and bassline which you can’t help but move to. Its shifting balance of uplifting and serious tones throughout work well together and are guaranteed to work any discerning dancefloor. The second track on the EP, ‘Chasing The Light’ has a crossover sound for both deep house and jackin house DJs alike and evokes thoughts of the sun rising after a long night spent with fellow revellers within the surrounds of serious house music.

This release is yet another strong EP from Tom Conrad on Adaptation Music in 2018 so watch this space as Tom continues to show his consistency and progression within the realms of deep and jackin underground house music.
