Truth Committee kick off the new year with their seventh single on Adaptation Music, this one a lush soulful and disco influenced track entitled ‘Hope For Tomorrow’.

Quite probably the best track yet from Truth Committee, ‘Hope For Tomorrow’ is a beautiful piano laden jazzy, soulful track with a soft and positive vocal accompanied by live bass, additional keys and solid beats. A thought provoking slice of jazzy goodness which leaves you feeling like there’s hope for tomorrow, maybe.

A positive 2022 saw Truth Committee appear on several ‘Best Of 2022’ compilations and throughout the year having top downloads in the Nu Disco, Soulful House, Afro/Latin/Brazilian genre sections on several download stores. Adaptation’s 110th release sees Tom Conrad back this time with a jazzy jackin Chicago house track entitled ‘Sativa Sundae’. Early support from DJ Spen, Mr V, Lars Behrenroth, Vinny Da Vinci, Bertrand Dupart, Andy Compton, Chemars and more.

If you’re a fan of funk, jazz and house, then the fusion that is ‘Sativa Sundae’ may be for you. Tom made this as a tribute to some of the best jazz keys players that have ever graced this planet in the 50s, 60s and 70s in the U.S, who got some of their inspiration for jamming and live performances from that thing we also refer to as sativa. From an intro of deep soulful rhodes piano to a funky live bassline, the track turns into a jazzy rhodes fest that you can’t help but move to. One for the Chicago House heads.
