Adaptation Music welcomes back Nottingham duo Javed Brothers to the label with their second deep house project on the label entitled ‘Journeys EP’.

The EP opens up with the deep tech track ‘Something New’ which builds nicely, has great late night feel to it and has a great rumbling bassline to go with it. The ‘B’ side is even more of a bass focused affair complete with deep atmospheric chords and synth work and has a crossover appeal for deep house and tech house DJs alike.

Javed Brothers are no strangers to the scene despite relatively new forays into the world of deep house, hence why their productions are so solid. Both of them have been DJing for over a decade for various events in several locations throughout the UK and one of the duo has owned a successful recording studio, doing voiceover work with Stephen Graham for the major HBO series Boardwalk Empire. Expect to see a lot more from these guys as 2018 and beyond, with numerous projects in the pipeline and big things are expected from them.

Adaptation Music’s Tom Conrad releases another fine EP of old school influenced house music on the label, in the form of ‘Summer Of 92 EP’ following on from his recent ‘Affinity EP’ and a release on reputable big name U.S imprint King Street Sounds.

First on the EP is ‘Deeper High’ with its infectious old school chords, Chicago style bass, funky marimba, soft horn sounds and atmospheric pads. Very Balearic and retro with a modern twist would be one way to describe the overall feel. The ‘B’ side to the EP ‘Look Back And Turn Around’ complements the other side well, with classic old school chords, funky New York style bassline and a sun soaked infectious groove.

This release is the one of many on the way from Tom Conrad on Adaptation in 2018 so watch this space as Tom continues to show his consistency and progression within the realms of deep and jackin underground house music.

Adaptation Music welcomes Yan Gordo back to the label for release number 86 alongside both Bonetti and Demarkus Lewis, following on from his Perspectives compilation and several previous projects on the label including ‘Take It Easy’, ‘Ready’ and ‘Calmos’.

Hailing from the same surrounds as the likes of Agoria, Manoo, Rocco & Klement Bonelli, Yan first started releasing house music in 2011 and his music has been regularly supported by none other than Mark Farina, Phil Weeks, Hector Romero, Jason Hodges, Demuir, Angelo Ferreri amongst others.

Mallorca based producer Bonetti rejoins the Adaptation Music family with another quality and timeless remix following on from the previous and without doubt huge Deep House sounds of ‘Lose My Mind EP’ and his superb remix of DJ Bee’s ‘No Drama’. Bonetti is a prolific producer and remixer and has had projects on numerous labels owned by the likes of Demarkus Lewis and DJ Spen. He is also the owner of Groovy Riddim Records.

This exceptional project is honoured to include a top drawer remix from the U.S based Deep and Jackin House legend Demarkus Lewis. His remix keeps things simple yet effective but utterly infectious and is a guaranteed set/playlist inclusion for any discerning Jackin House DJ.

The EP opens up with the massive bass heavy ‘Kawang’ which combines deep atmospheric synth work, tight beats and a bassline that would rock any sound system and dancefloor. Next up is ‘If You’ which is a more techy minimal affair perfect for any serious late night set. Last but not least is the spacey atmospheric and prog style ‘Jupiter’, another one for the early hours.

Adaptation’s 83rd release is the first ever solo release from Nockasson, one half of duo L.A Cerate who also announced themselves to the music world with the brilliant ‘Subconscious EP’ back in 2015. And what a way to showcase your presence with two sublime slices of deep house.

The EP opens with the bass heavy vocal track ‘Situations’, its infectious bassline at the forefront surrounded by lush keys and soft alluring vocals. The ‘B’ side entitled ‘Intrusion’ is a late night vibe which also offers a deep and heavy bassline with intermittent haunting keys and pads, with a subtle vinyl crackle thrown in for good measure

Nockasson may be a new artist name on the block but in no way is he a stranger to the scene. Growing up and going to school with Adaptation Music’s Tom Conrad, they both shared the same passion and taste for music so it was inevitable that the connection would realign on the industry stage. As a member of the L.A Cerate duo, their ‘Subconscious EP’ made waves in 2015 and they subsequently went on to remix the 50th Adaptation release by none other than the legendary Demarkus Lewis.
