NEW RELEASE – Tom Conrad ‘Mystical EP’

Featured in Traxsource’s Deep Essentials and Hype Charts w/c 5th September 2016!

“Two glorious deep house cuts sure to send the floor into a frenzy”

“Amazing message and hook…full support”

“Definitely GONNA rock THIS!!!”

“Top class tracks! Support as usual! Tom Conrad on fire here with two stellar tracks!”

Following up a recent Traxsource #1 Essential Jackin release and #5 top download with ‘The 12am Groove’, Tom has also recently done remixes for Jesante, Hermanas Sister, DJ Bee & DJ SGZ along with the well received ‘Impressions EP’ release. Once again, both tracks offer something different.

Opening track ‘Better Here Than Never’ is a hypnotic and driving late night gem with its captivating chord layers, delayed vocal FX and swirling synth interludes. Set in no particular order, the second track entitled ‘Secrets Within’ has a very old school U.S feel with its atmospheric pads; alternating between both beautifully ethereal and funky jackin chords. It’s sure to be a hit with both fans of deep house and jackin house.

All tracks Written, Arranged and Produced By Tom Conrad

NEW RELEASE – James McKone ‘Hunter EP’

In this week’s Essential Deep, Hype Chart, Essential Soulful and a featured release on the Techno, Deep and Soulful pages at Traxsource. Superb timeless EP right here!

“Amazing EP”

“Old school detroit acid house vibes with updated production techniques. Solid all around.”

“Love all. Massive!”

“Top-notch old skool inspired underground house release not to be missed”

‘Hunter’ EP is the debut release from James McKone, who usually plies his trade by day as a touring and session reggae bass player for multiple UK acts. Four breathtaking tracks take you back to a time where dance music was forever evolving into the unknown. Chicago & Detroit can be heard throughout, a testament to the inspiration bestowed by the pioneering artists from these cities in the early house music era.

Expect 303s, 707s, 808s & 909s all running in sync, flashing between the gritty sound of the London underground scene and the nostalgic signature sound synonymouswith late 80s Detroit. This release is hard hitting yet melodic, capturing a really broad spectrum of influences whilst remaining true to the roots of where it all began.

All tracks Written, Arranges and Produced By James McKone

NEW RELEASE – Tom Conrad ‘The 12am Groove’ (inc. Soledrifter mixes)

#1 Essential Jackin Track on Traxsource!!! Also features in the Hype Chart and Weekend Weapons and is officially a Traxsource Top 10 download already!

Supported by Inland Knights and more!

“Wow this is a smoking release. Original is so hot!! Love all the other remixes too. Full Support”

“Utterly infectious and uplifting slice of disco-house goodness”

“Really like this feel, reminds me of the crydamoure days, full support on this. Solid!”

Adaptation Music welcomes back Tom Conrad to the label as he continues his ever growing number of consistent productions and remixes in recent times with the sublime jackin dancefloor gem ‘The 12am Groove’ with two fine remixes from Soledrifter.

The original version is a quality slice of classic filtered uplifting jackin house, tailor made for any feel good dancefloor scenario. Tom’s long love affair with jackin house is finally captured in the studio with this being his first solo jackin house track and hopefully not the last. The first of Soledrifter’s great remixes is a brilliant energy packed Daft Punk-esque rework, reminiscent of the classic filtered French house sound of the late 90s. The second of Soledrifter’s mixes is a classy take on the original, with maybe less energy but still very much oozing with quality.
