Cosmic Elements’ 15th release is a big one, a summery balearic lounge/chill EP from Tom Conrad alongside the brilliant Andy Compton (The Rurals) with ‘Textures EP’.
First up is the lush fusion of summery sounds that make up ‘Okinawa’, an ode the beauty of Okinawa prefecture Japan. Andy Compton (The Rurals) is on lead guitar here as he is on the next track ‘Phoenix’, a broken beat, balearic soulful jam with jazzy guitar and a smooth funky bassline. For the closing track, Tom decided to make a track that would fit with observing stars in the night sky and believe it or not, it’s called ‘Stargazer’. Soft arpeggiated rhythms, smooth pads, uplifting keys and ethereal but subtle bell sounds (to represent glowing) are the order of the day, so you tell us – is it a star gazing record?
All tracks Written, Arranged and Produced by Tom Conrad.
Lead guitar on Phoenix and Okinawa by Andy Compton.
Bass on Phoenix by A.Robertson.

Adaptation Music’s Tom Conrad returns to the label with the long awaited ‘Frankie’s Song’ following on from his last successful outing, ‘New York EP’ earlier in the year.
The song title is an ode to one of Tom’s biggest musical influences Frankie Knuckles, whose versatility and warmth of sound throughout his productions inspired this track. Tried and tested at numerous venues over the last year, ‘Frankie’s Song’ is a melodic beauty which comprises lush chords, infectious leads and a sound somewhere between New York and Ibiza.
Watch out for several more EPs and singles over the coming months from Tom on Adaptation Music and several other labels as he continues to establish himself with his consistency and progression within the realms of deep and jackin underground house music.

Adaptation Music welcomes back Alex Sosa to the label with the brilliant two track ‘iLuv EP’ following on from his remix of DJ Bee’s ‘Corruption’ back in 2014.
The title track ‘iLuv’ is a driving peak time latin style deep tech house affair and would fit well into most deep house, tech house or techno DJs playlists. The ‘B’ side of the EP, ‘What Did You Say’ is another serious driving tech house track fit for the main room, complete with hypnotic vocals and captivating synths.
Alex Sosa is one of the owners of both Alma Soul Music and Lovely Records and has been a prolific producer and DJ both in his home surrounds of Madrid and further afield. His music has featured on two of the legendary Joeski’s imprints, Maya and Aztec Tribalism along with having remixed for the likes of Matthias Vogt, Onur Ozman and Bryan Zentz. Alex’s consistency at producing quality deep and tech house has earned him a huge reputation within the scene that is only likely to increase in 2016 and beyond.
