Adaptation Music’s Tom Conrad kicks off 2019 with a great new two tracker entitled ‘Streetlife EP’ which once again shows his versatility and ability to avoid being predictable or typecast when producing house music. It follows on from his previous project on the label, ‘Dawn Rising EP’.

The EP opens up with the sublime ‘Street Boogie’, a classy jackin house track that would also appeal to disco, funk and soul fans due to its multitude of intelligent crossover sounds and warm feel. Certainly one of Tom’s greatest works to date. The ‘B Side’ of the release is the long awaited ‘Fading Lights’ which also has a huge crossover appeal. Whilst primarily being a deep/jackin house track, it has embedded influences of soul, funk and disco and an overall very warm, emotional and atmospheric vibe.

After a strong 2018, Tom kicks off the new year in style and is the first of many releases in the pipeline for the months ahead. Tom continues to establish himself with his consistency and progression within the realms of deep and jackin underground house music, so look out for much more from him in the coming year.

Adaptation Music is proud to work once again with Spanish radio presenter, DJ and producer DJ Bee with his third project on the label entitled ‘No Drama’ with solid mixes from Bonetti and Ricky Inch.

Madrid based DJ Bee has been a prominent figure on the Spanish airwaves for a number of years now with his incredibly popular shows ‘House Time’ and ‘Bee Live’ which showcase a variety of the freshest house music. Not only consigned to radio, DJ Bee has played all over Spain and has produced for a variety of labels including those owned by Franco De Mulero and DJ Chus.

Mallorca based producer Bonetti teams up with Adaptation Music again but this time on remix duty following his huge ‘Lose My Mind EP’ release. Bonetti is a prolific producer and remixer and has had projects on numerous labels for the likes of Demarkus Lewis and DJ Spen.

A big supporter of Adaptation but new to the label as a producer/remixer is Estonian producer Ricky Inch. Ricky has built up an impressive discography on the likes of Purple Music, Peppermint Jam, King Street, Seamless, Spring Tube and many more.

Adaptation Music’s continental journey continues with the quality addition of Argentinian producer Spike Galarraga with the deep and techy three track ‘Lifestyles EP’.

Buenos Aires native Spike Galarraga is relatively new to the underground house music scene but is already showing a remarkable consistency and quality within the realms of deep tech house and techno. His signature sound of deep infectious late night rhythms and sub heavy basslines is remeniscent of the classic Terry Francis sound synonymous with his long term residency at the legendary Fabric London.

Opening track ‘Ronzo’ is a very deep dubby groove with tight percussive elements that chugs along nicely and is remeniscent of the classic early Tyrant and Fabric sound and is one for both the house and techno enthusiasts. Next up is ‘I’m Not A Crook’ which is all about the deep subby bass that is tailor made for the early hours and the track overall is a hypnotic affair. Last but not least is ‘Gloria’; another deep bass heavy mesmerising vibe with great percussion and essential in any serious house and techno DJs collection.

So to summarise, ‘Lifestyles EP’ contains three fantastic hynotic late night club tracks not to be missed!

‘Hunter’ EP is the debut release from James McKone, who usually plies his trade by day as a touring and session reggae bass player for multiple UK acts. Four breathtaking tracks take you back to a time where dance music was forever evolving into the unknown. Chicago & Detroit can be heard throughout, a testament to the inspiration bestowed by the pioneering artists from these cities in the early house music era.

Expect 303s, 707s, 808s & 909s all running in sync, flashing between the gritty sound of the London underground scene and the nostalgic signature sound synonymouswith late 80s Detroit. This release is hard hitting yet melodic, capturing a really broad spectrum of influences whilst remaining true to the roots of where it all began.
